Milk Vintage

Hey, nice to meet you guys. We have always been vintage enthusiasts ourselves, and fantasised in the idea of having a brick-and-mortar store. We discussed the positive opportunities in Coventry - both with the locals (like ourselves) and the student community. Then in September last year, we were luckily presented with the opportunity of having our own little shop unit - so we took it and turned it into Milk!

It’s not often in a person’s career that they get to interview themselves! I feel quite privileged to be able to get my experiences down into words. I thought I’d put myself under the same line of questioning I give other interviewees of Native Magazine. What makes me tick? What are my goals? It’s hard to talk about oneself too much... but I’ll give it a damn good go.

Garry Jones

Not many of us can say we’ve got our dream job by the age of 30. As I sat down with a coffee to chat to the brilliantly talented photographer that is Garry Jones- I couldn’t help but wonder. How did he make it so far in such a short time? What kept him going? What’s next when you’re already living the dream? I asked Garry, who has his photographs on the cover of Native Issue 3,  just a few of these burning questions.

Micky Blouse

Thanks so much for taking the time to listen to the single. I’m both surprised and flattered by the response so far. The Micky Blouse project was created quite a few years ago. After sixth form I dabbled in a few different things and music/ song writing was the thing that peaked my interest. The notion of seeing something through from conception to completion was fascinating and writing tunes allowed me to do this with massively satisfying results.
