The clock is counting down to 5pm and the workforce is already day dreaming about breakfast in bed, long pub lunches and culture hunting. Festival of Creativity and Wellbeing
15 June at the Herbert
Did you know that 2019 was Coventry’s year of Wellbeing? To celebrate that the Feel Good Community are hosting a free Festival of Creativity and Wellbeing at the Herbert Art Gallery. This event will bring together a number of organisations that are all passionate about the positive effects of creativity.
Diversion Daytime Party
15 June at the Squirrel
The all day party continues on Saturday 15 as the Diversion team return to the Squirrel. Due to the extreme weather conditions the party will be kept dry and warm inside the venue and include a full spectrum of quality tunes from the worlds of funk, disco, house and techno.
Positive Image Festival
15 June in Broadgate
After the success of Motofest, Pride and Coventry Food Festival our city see’s a new event launch in Broadgate as the Positive Image Festival launches. Embracing the best of poetry, music, literature, food, art and much more it aims to bring culture and heritage to the fore.

Rock Against Racism
14 June at the Empire
Coventry has been the centre of attention in recent months as music ringed out across the city. Global tours including the Spice Girls came to town whilst acts including Primal Scream, Frank Turner and Peter Hook are due to appear later this year. However, tonight (14 June) there’s a local affair supporting an incredibly strong cause going on in the city centre has bands such as Wilde, Shanghai Hostage and Ace Ambrose perform in the Rock Against Racism gig at the Empire.
Sausage and Cider Festival
15 June at Coventry Welsh Rugby Club
With over 30+ ciders, sausages, ice-cream, camping, inflatables and live music the Coventry Welsh Rugby Club is definitely somewhere you want to be tomorrow. In association with Meerkat Entertainment, this event is guaranteed to be a community driven and family celebration of food, drink and fun.
Family Day: From Here To There
16 June at Warwick Arts Centre
Are you ready to wiggle, jiggle, stretch, twirl, jump and shake? If that sounds fun then the From Here To There Family Day at Warwick Arts Centre is where you need to be. Inspired by all things movement the team encourage you to bring scooters, bikes and roller-skates as you explore a range of free crafts, sports and activities across the family day site.
Sunday Social Meet
16 June at the Varsity
On every other week the Midlands Motorbikers group host a social meet for like-minded two wheel lovers. This Sunday (16 June) they will be gathering at the newly refurbished Varsity pub found in the Warwick University Campus from 6pm until 10pm.

Don’t forget to treat your dad this Sunday as the 2019 Father’s Day kicks off. Whether he is a food lover, beer drinker or sports mad, there are lots of things for you to do. Try an afternoon walk across Coundon Wedge or a stroll through the War Memorial Park before putting your feet up and enjoying lunch. Whatever you do, we hope you all have fun.
